With regards to technology, I took a "Technology and Children" course in my undergrad that taught me the basics about how to implement technology into the classroom. It was a very informative class and showed me the potential to teaching children with the integration of technology. In my practicums, I used technology in the most limited sense as I did not feel very comfortable using it.

In one of my practicum experiences, the associate teacher did not use technology and in the other it was the complete opposite. I feel that I need to learn how to use these tools myself first before bringing them into the classroom. It is also essential that technology is not over- used in the classroom which brings about a negative learning experience.

I am excited to learn how to use new technlogical resources and implement them effectively in my practicums and eventually as a classroom teacher. I look forward to networking with all of you :)
